The above pieces were designed for the Shemamo Girl Scout Council located in Decatur, Illinois. Although similar in layout and design elements (a goal of these two pieces), the two program calendars were designed and written for two different audiences: (1) Program Calendar for Girl Scouts and (2) Training Calendar for Parents or Adult Individuals interested in volunteering leadership. The other design challenge with these two pieces was keeping with the strict artwork guidelines enforced by the national Girl Scouts organization.
