Local Photographer Featured in Jacksonville Art Show and Auction February 8, 2005 [Forsyth, Illinois] -- Chad N. Mitchell, of Chad Mitchell Photography, was invited by The Imagine Foundation, in Jacksonville, Illinois, to showcase photographic prints from his personal collection for a fundraising event held on February 4, 2005 in Jacksonville, Illinois. One of a select group of Midwest artists, Mr. Mitchell provided three 11 x 14 framed prints with a Valentine's Day theme as part of a silent auction benefiting area children and their families. The Imagine Foundation is a new non-profit organization serving the Greater Jacksonville area. According to their mission statement, The Imagine Foundation is committed to enriching the lives of children and their families through counceling and education in the arts. The staff of The Imagine Foundation combines a social service background with an appreciation for the arts. Mr. Mitchell is a 1996 graduate of Millikin University, in Decatur, Illinois, and recently received his certification in Professional Photography through the New York Institute of Photography, in New York, New York. Mr. Mitchell has a full service photography studio in Forsyth, Illinois.
