Local Photographer Wins International Photography Competition July 4, 2004 [Forsyth, Illinois] -- Chad N. Mitchell, of Chad Mitchell Photography, recently won 1st Place in an international photography contest sponsored by Owen's Originals Inc., a backdrop supplier based in Washington, Kansas. A 1996 graduate of Millikin University, Mitchell entered a studio bridal portrait featuring a Decatur, Illinois bride. The backdrop used was called "Earthtones", and according to the manufacturer's web site offers a nice blend of browns, blues, and grays with a slight green tint.
