Mitchell, of Chad Mitchell Photography in Forsyth, Illinois, recently became a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). According to the organization's web site, the Professional Photographers of America, is a worldwide association that exists to assist its more than 14,000 members in achieving their professional, artistic, and fraternal goals; to promote public awareness of the profession; and to advance the making of images in all of its disciplines as an art, a science and a visual recorder of history. Mr. Mitchell is a 1996 graduate of Millikin University, in Decatur, Illinois, and also received his certification in Professional Photography through the New York Institute of Photography, in New York, New York.
