Although I am sure he is capable of a very scripted photo album, that is not what we wanted. "We were a bit concerned that we would have to sacrifice quality to find a photographer within our budget, but then we came across Chad's website. We hired him for a "ceremony only" package and found that the photos we got back from Chad captured our day beautifully. We are delighted with the photo quality and the coverage we got of our event. The black & white photos Chad took while we were getting ready for the wedding really capture the quiet excitement of that morning. We had decided we wanted to see each other prior to the wedding to get more of the photos done and Chad was very sensitive to our desire for that moment to still be special. In fact, one of our favorite photos is one he took the moment just after we saw each other for the first time. Jason's face says it all. Chad was very respectful of our church's guidlines on photography and he managed to get some great "up-close" shots during the ceremony - which we didn't even notice him taking. We were amazed to find that our proofs were available shortly after we returned from our honeymoon. The only difficulty we had with Chad's photos was choosing which ones to order reprints or enlargements of because they are all so great!"

"I could go on for pages praising Chad's phenomenal work, but I'll try to condense it into a couple of paragraphs: First of all, Chad is affordable. Unlike some of the local photographers I researched who were charging up to $3000 for their services, Chad will work for less than $1000. That helps significantly, after trying to cover every other wedding expense! Secondly, Chad is not the typical businessman. After we had contacted Chad about our upcoming wedding, but before we had signed the contract to hire him, another couple tried to book him for the same date. They were willing to sign a contract that very night to seal the deal, but Chad made it very clear that my then-fiancé and I had "first dibs," since we had contacted him first. What a relief it was to know that we could trust him not to leave us hanging! Thirdly, Chad is accessible. He is receptive to e-mails and phone calls at home, and he is always quick to respond. What's more, he was often the one to contact me, just to touch base. That was reassuring! On our wedding day, Chad traveled all the way to Champaign from Forsyth and arrived at 8 a.m. for a pre-ceremony photo shoot. He was always very cheerful and flexible, willing to work around any last-minute schedule changes. That really took the stress off my shoulders! And during the ceremony itself, Chad was respectful of the chapel policies regarding when he could use flash and where he could walk, etc. And he was inconspicuous-we had many guests comment on how discreet he was when taking photos. For most of the ceremony, they didn't even notice he was there! It was wonderful for everyone to be able to focus on what was really important, without being distracted by the photographer. Kudos to Chad for reducing our wedding-day jitters and for so skillfully and artistically capturing the most precious moments of our lives!"

I know that on my wedding day I did not want to concern myself with anything other than enjoying the celebration of my union with my husband. I told myself early in the day that no matter what happened, I was not going to worry about it. Then Chad arrived, and my prayers were answered. He made both Jason and I feel comfortable, and worry-free, all day. He took his time with us, never getting upset, or antsy with our family or friends, even when they were taking too much time preparing for pictures. "In the past ive been to several different photographers, but the personal experience that we had with Chad was wonderful. I have a three-year old son, and as others know from experience, sometimes it can be very hard to get them to set still or even let a photographer take one photo of them. Chad took time to make it not only fun for my son to have his photo taken, he made it a wonderful memorable experience for both of us. The way his studio was set up made it so much easer for us to just be ourselves and not feel like we were being rushed in and out like other studios make you feel.
